Old Favorites with a Twist
Our final program this season will delight dedicated fans and newcomers alike.
The “Twist” celebrates composer Leonard Bernstein's 100th anniversary with “Three Dance Episodes” from his boisterous ballet, On the Town. The “Favorites” are Robert Schumann's enduringly popular Piano Concerto op. 54, and perhaps the best-known piece of classical music ever written -- Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.
