Returning to the Stage Soon!

MSO's 2021-22 classical season will open October 23rd and 24th under the baton of conductor Rohan Smith, with Respighi's evocative Pines of Rome and piano soloist George Lopez performing Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto.
The program also features Fanfarria by Tania León and Lyric for Strings by George Walker. These short pieces by modern composers are part of MSO’s initiative to advance musical diversity. Each program this season will have one or two contemporary works, including music by Maine-based composers, women and other underrepresented groups.
For the health and safety of our patrons, musicians and volunteers, we will comply with CDC and venue guidelines. Please purchase tickets in advance, as seating for these performances will be limited.
