Backstage with the MSO: About Sibelius
MSO's upcoming concerts on October 26 and 27 will include Symphony No. 5 by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.
During rehearsals I was hearing that this piece can be challenging to play, and was curious to know why. So I put the question to our conductor and some of our musicians, and the result is Episode 5 of our YouTube series "Backstage with the MSO."
